The Future of Water Quality

TWF staff recently recieved this passionate email from a mother and her daughter, who have taken an interest in our water resources. It is so important that people get involved in water quality protection and improvement now, and for the future!

For more information on how you can do your part for water quality, visit Also, check out to see how you can conserve water to reduce pollutant runoff into natural lakes, rivers, and streams as well as extend the life of your sewer or septic system. Together, we are making a difference!

"My name is Anna and I have a daughter in middle school. Recently we visited a marine biology lab. There, we were given a moving presentation on the harmful nature of pollution and its impact on marine life. My daughter took a keen interest in the topic. Even I, admittedly, was ignorant of the drastic degree to which pollution devastates our environment.

Following the trip, my daughter asked me about pursuing additional
information concerning pollution, conservation and sustainability
opportunities. I was more than happy to assist her, although I knew just as
much, possibly even less, than she did. Wanting to educate myself and my
daughter, I began researching online. I came across several web pages that I
found to be incredibly helpful. I found your webpage really informative
in regard to water and conservation information.

My daughter showed me a web page she had found on her own that featured an
extremely informative article about water conservation. I am writing this
email to you because I believe that her article, , would be an awesome
addition to your site. More than that, I know she would be proud to know
that she may be doing something to raise awareness about the importance of
conservation and sustainability in our society. If you decide to post the
article, please send me an email so I can tell her!

Thank you!
